Midday Veil sure managed to possess the spirits of the greats of psychedelic rock (Ash Ra Tempel, especially) and more importantly, they managed to let these spirits flow and release them onto the tape, where they etched their forms in form of music. Recommended. -Weed Temple (full review here)

Not only are they a new and different embodiment of themselves, but I would argue are a new face for psych music itself. -Dave Miller for Foxy Digitalis [...]

Eldridge Gravy & the Court Supreme’s irrepressible rise continues at ever-larger venues, as the 13-piece funk/soul ensemble make the jump to Chop Suey. Their shows flamboyantly accentuate the positive with mostly up-tempo, tried-and-true maneuvers: dynamic horn charts; intricate, rousing vocal interplay; “Good god!”–inducing rhythms; and inspirational keyboard swells. Unless you’re an industrial-grade curmudgeon, Eldridge Gravy’s [...]

Midday Veil reviews (May 2011)
Even with a short set, Midday Veil was memorable, and its performances of originals like “Anthem” and “Eyes All Around” made you feel like you were seeing something special before the rest of the world really knows about it. -Tom Murphy, Denver Westword Blog This band can be tough to categorize, but psychedelia is the [...]

In the combination of a very human voice with a wry, wise understanding of how machines work to create emotion in us, Eyes All Around can be easily compared to any number of ubiquitously cherished groups. It is a uniquely spiritual statement, though, and Midday Veil may be one of Seattle’s very best next new [...]

Is this a mere psychedelic rock record? Is it? Or is it a work of spiritual technology designed to mindfuck you into heavenly submission — a channeling ritual that forces the listener to confront timeless themes of death and rebirth unconsciously? Either way, you should probably check it out. Read the full review here.
